About Me
My background
I was born in Indiana and lived most of my childhood in the south suburbs of Chicago, but I'm a Cubs fan!
I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's in Medical Records Administration. Ten years later, I obtained my Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Computer Information Systems. My plans focused on working on the computerized medical record.
I grew up in a denominational religion, hearing about Jesus. Still, I didn't know Him personally until I was in my early 30s when I willingly surrendered my life to Him as my Lord and Savior for what He did for me on the cross. My faith exponentially grew as I sought Him for healing from the trauma I had experienced physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
After giving my heart to Jesus in 1998, my life radically changed, and God showed me the plans He had for me. He's used my background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, the food industry, faith-based organizations, nutrition, and my healing journey to bring me to where I am today. I never aspired to become a writer, but I've stepped into that role through my heart's desire to obey His calling.
While living on an island in the Pacific Northwest, God wanted me to be alone with Him to learn about who He was in great intimacy. During that time, He birthed the makings of my first book, Getting to the Root by Connecting to the Vine. In April 2025, God helped me to republish an updated and revised edition titled Rooted in the Vine.
My husband and I moved to Prescott, Arizona, in 2018. I enjoy swimming, hiking, kayaking, biking, and anything I can do with my beloved rescue, Daisy. But my first love is spending quiet time with my Jesus.

I Believe:
- There is only one true God.
- The Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
- God exists in the form of a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus is the Son of God.
- Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected from the dead after three days.
- Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
- God is omnipresent, omniscient, sovereign, and holy.
- Salvation is a free gift from God to those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
- We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus and not by works.
My Community
Those who passionately follow after Jesus and desire to know Him more intimately so they can love Him more deeply. Also, those who inspire and seek healthy living and root cause healing (physically, emotionally, spiritually, and nutritionally) for the glory of God.
